How quickly will my website be online?
The amazing part first: Your website is created in just a few minutes – you can watch it go live directly after ordering. It will then take a few more hours until it's accessible under your own domain – for three honest reasons: The newly registered domain needs to propagate globally across the network (DNS), the SSL security certificate is issued, and every website is personally reviewed before going live – no robot presses «publish» with us. Usually it goes much faster; we promise 24 hours so the promise always holds. You'll receive an email as soon as everything is live. Including access to your customer panel.
Who owns the domain?
You. We register the domain in your name – you are and remain the legal owner. If you cancel your subscription, you can transfer the domain to another provider.
Are there extensions other than .ch?
Yes. Choose from .ch, .li, .de, .at, .eu, .fr, .es, .nl, .be, .uk included · .com, .net, .org, .it +CHF 10.–/year · .info, .co +CHF 25.–/year. The surcharge covers the higher registration costs of these extensions – it is shown during checkout and on every invoice. The domain is registered in your name in any case.
How does the subscription and cancellation work?
The subscription costs CHF 99.– per year and renews automatically. You can cancel at any time yourself at pixify-ai.ch/kuendigen – if cancelled in time before expiry, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current year, otherwise at the end of the following year. No additional costs apply.
Can I request changes to the website later on?
Yes – and most changes you make yourself: texts, images and opening hours can be adjusted directly in the customer panel; with «Save» your website is rebuilt instantly. Larger modifications are quoted fairly and transparently – also happy to discuss in a video call (
termin.pixify.ch).
What can I customise myself in the customer panel?
Texts and images, accent colour and font style, image placement, services, questions & answers, opening hours, customer testimonials, videos, social media links, the promotional banner, the appointment button and the contact form. Every change rebuilds your website immediately.
What happens to my e-mail addresses (e.g. info@yourcompany.ch)?
They stay. When transferring an existing domain, we automatically secure the existing e-mail records and set them up again after the transfer – your mailbox continues without interruption. We review this together with you before the switchover.
I already have a website – can I transfer texts and images?
Yes. We read out your existing website – texts, images, logo and colours – and transfer them to your new Pixify website, whether WordPress, Wix or a website builder. On request, we can even replicate your existing design 1:1 (on request for a quote). All details on the «Transfer website» page.
How do enquiries from the website reach me?
Via the built-in contact form: visitors write to you, the message lands directly in your e-mail inbox – you reply with one click. Honeypot and rate limiting keep spam away; no captcha is required.
Is my website secure – and what do I need to do for that?
Nothing, and that is the point. Most SME websites are not hacked but neglected: a website builder with extensions requires updates every few weeks, and if no one carries them out, a known vulnerability is eventually left wide open. With us there are no extensions, no database and no login form on your website – so nothing that could become outdated or be tried out. In addition: encrypted transmission, daily backups with fourteen days of retention, and a programme that checks every morning whether everything is running. Which of these measures are currently active can be verified on our security page – the values shown there are measured at the time of access, not merely claimed.
What happens if someone gains access to my email inbox?
An honest question, and it touches on a real point: you log in to the customer panel using a link from your email. Anyone who has access to your inbox could thereby also access the panel. That is precisely what theapp-based confirmationis for: if you enable it in the panel under «Security», logging in additionally requires a six-digit code from your mobile phone – meaning the inbox alone is no longer sufficient. Setup takes one minute, and a device on which you have confirmed once will not ask again for 30 days. Your login address cannot be changed without notice either: the previous address is notified immediately and can stop the change with a single click.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Not for the built-in visitor statistics: it counts anonymously and without cookies. If you additionally embed videos, these load with minimal data usage (YouTube in extended privacy mode or Vimeo with «Do not track»). We provide a matching privacy policy for your website.
Can I embed my own videos and social media profiles?
Yes – up to three YouTube or Vimeo videos appear as a dedicated section on the homepage. You can link Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and WhatsApp in the panel; the icons appear in the footer of every page.
What is a OnePager – and when is it worthwhile?
With a OnePager, everything is on a single, elegantly scrollable page – ideal when your offering is compact. Two of our ten design directions are OnePagers; the imprint and privacy policy naturally remain separate pages.
Where do the texts on my website come from?
From your details: you describe your company in keywords, and from these, individually worded texts are generated, including suitable questions & answers – in the formal register and Swiss spelling. No invented promises, prices or certificates, and in the panel you can adjust everything at any time.
Are my images automatically optimised?
Yes. When uploading, we reduce your photos to a sensible size and convert them to the fast WebP format – your website loads noticeably faster as a result, especially on mobile.
What happens to the website and domain after cancellation?
Your website continues to run normally until the end of the paid subscription year. After that, the automatic renewal of your domain stops – you will receive all the information you need in good time to transfer it to another provider if required.
Who is Pixify-AI designed for – and who is it not?

Can I change the large heading and all texts myself?
Yes – every visible text: the large heading on the homepage (H1), the subtitle, «About us», services, questions & answers and your own pages. All directly in the panel, without consultation and without surcharge. Left blank, the tried-and-tested automation takes over – you always have the final say.
How do I appear on Google – and can I control that myself?
Your website is search-engine-ready from day 1: clean titles, sitemap, structured data. And in the panel's «Google» tab, you determine for each page which title and description you appear with in the search results – on request, the AI makes a suggestion that you can adopt with one click.
Is my website also available in French, Italian or English?
Yes. On request, your website can appear in up to four languages – German, French, Italian and English. The translation is generated automatically from your content, your own text changes are carried over, and your visitors switch language via a discreet toggle.
